Our Program
Founders Classical Academy – Online offers a remote learning experience that closely follows our on-campus program. Please view this chart for a comparison of the virtual program and our brick-and-mortar schools.
We are a blended program, bringing live instruction and independent work, much akin to our brick-and-mortar campuses. Our Kindergarten through 5th grade teachers provide live interactive instruction for your child. Students will also have asynchronous assignments to complete. Especially the younger students will need your assistance to complete their work. Be sure to block time out in your day to work with your child.
Daily Commitment

For K-2, live instruction will last about 2-3 hours. Students will have additional work to complete.

For 3-5, live instruction will last 3-4 hours each day. Students will have additional work to complete.

For 6-8, live instruction will last about 4 hours each day. Students will have additional work to complete.
- Connected Classroom: For our 6th through 8th grade students, instruction will look different than in our other grades. The Connected Classroom seeks to bring teachers to classrooms when there would not be an opportunity. To avoid a merely self-paced program, the Connected Classroom provides real-time instruction. Teachers from one of our Founders campuses will live stream instruction to our students, and while there will not be the same type of interaction in these classrooms as with others, the carefully crafted plans and lessons will engage our online students.
We will send the curriculum home to your students. To participate in the program, you will need a computer with a webcam and microphone and a connection to high-speed Internet. We also strongly recommend an additional device such as an iPad/tablet.
Parents who wish to move their students to an in-person setting may be assigned to a campus that is not one of their preferences based on available seating.
